Harry Gilbert is a British film, television and theatre casting director. He is BAFTA’s 2024 Breakthrough Casting Director of the year.

Harry is the casting director of the hit comedy series G’WED for ITV, released in Spring 2024. The series became one of the most streamed comedies across the platform and is renewed for a second and third season.

In the same year, Harry cast his first feature film REAWAKENING, starring Jared Harris, Juliet Stevenson and Erin Doherty, which was released in cinemas nationwide to critical and commercial acclaim. Further credits include the short film LIONS, which was BIFA nominated and won the prestigious Unifrance Grand Prize in 2023 at Cannes.

Most recently, Harry co-cast the upcoming series TRUTH & CONVICTION with Sarah Trevis, and was her associate on LOCKERBIE: A SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH for Sky and Peacock, both set to debut in early 2025.

Harry first entered the world of casting in 2019 assisting Sarah Trevis, who worked for many years alongside the legendary and BAFTA winning Mary Selway. He previously assisted Sarah, Jenny Duffy and Jeremy Zimmerman across a number of projects before becoming associate to Sarah Trevis in 2022, alongside developing his own solo projects.

Harry was born and raised in East London.
