Jamie Bogyo
Jamie Bogyo is an American actor and writer for film, television and theatre.
Jamie will next star in Mona Fastvold’s highly anticipated upcoming musical feature ANN LEE, alongside Amanda Seyfried, Thomasin McKenzie, Christopher Abbott and Lewis Pullman. The film is an epic fable inspired by the true story of the religious leader Ann Lee and the Shaker Movement, slated for release in 2025.
Jamie made his professional debut as the lead role of ‘Christian’ in the original West End cast of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL. The show was a great critical and commercial success, receiving 5 Olivier award nominations. He went on to play the lead role of ‘Alex’ in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ASPECTS OF LOVE on the West End, opposite Michael Ball and directed by Jonathan Kent, for which he was hailed as “One of the most exciting talents working in musical theatre today.”
In 2023, Jamie starred in the UK premiere of Alan Brody’s award-winning play OPERATION EPSILON, opposite Nathaniel Parker, at Southwark Playhouse Elephant.
Jamie’s debut stage play as a writer SAFE SPACE is scheduled for a major regional production in 2025. His next play MUSCULUS is currently in development for a commercial production in London.
Jamie trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, graduating in 2019.
