Kelly is a South African writer, actor and creative director. 

Her debut short TEA TIME ON HIP HOP NATION was acquired by Showtime as part of its Spotlights series, hailed for showcasing “revelatory shorts from the next generation of distinctive filmmakers… some of the very best emerging creators working today” (Amy Israel, Head of Scripted EVP).

Kelly is currently in development on various feature and television projects which have reached the Top 100 of The Launch Pad Feature Competition as well as the top 3% of all projects on Coverfly. 

Her first feature project FORWARD NOT STRAIGHT is a refreshingly irreverent, modern queer comedy.

As a creative director, Kelly has an impressive body of work. Her catalogue includes brand films and music videos for VICE, Apple, Beats By Dre, BeSe and TONAL, working with talent such as Zoe Saldana, Tommy Dorfman, Black Coffee and Karol G.

As an actor, Kelly can be seen in the hit Netflix series THE POLITICIAN alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, and in the popular short HAIL MARY COUNTRY, a Vimeo Staff Pick.
