Lea Drinda is an award-winning actor. At the age of only 22, Lea has already established herself as one of Germany’s leading actors, following a string of critically acclaimed performances.

Her break-out performance was the role of ‘Babsi’ in WE THE CHILDREN FROM BAHNOF ZOO (Amazon Prime), for which she was nominated for ‘Best Young Actor’ at the German Screen Actors Awards.

Lea received widespread acclaim for her performance as the lead ‘Charlie’ in BECOMING CHARLIE (ZDFneo). She was awarded the New Faces Award for Germany and ‘Best Leading Actress’ at both Hessian Television Awards and DAFFNEE Awards 2022, alongside nominations at German Television Awards and the prestigious Grimme Prize for ‘Outstanding Acting Performance’ in 2023.

In 2024, Lea stars as the titular ‘Wanda’ in Apple TV’s dark-comedy series WHERE’S WANDA?, and will next be seen as the female lead in the new six-part thriller series NIGHT IN PARADISE for Canal+.

Further credits include starring in Amazon’s new fantasy series THE GRYPHON and leading the environmental thriller series WHO WE ARE for ARD. Lea can also be seen  in ARD’s upcoming series BOOM.

Lea is fluent in four languages: English, French, German and Spanish.
