Matteo is an Italian actor and musician. He is best known for his breakout role ‘Edoardo Conte’ across all four seasons of the smash-hit Italian drama series MARE FUORI. The series is a cult phenomenon in Italy, garnering huge acclaim from audiences and critics, and was awarded ‘Series of the Year’ at Nastri d’Argento Film Awards in 2023. It is the most viewed on-demand series in a single day on RaiPlay, in addition to being a breakout hit on Netflix Italia.

Most recently, Matteo completed filming Valentina De Amicis’s upcoming feature MIA, set for release in 2025.

Further credits include starring as ‘Luigi’ in Alessandra Mortelliti’s feature FAMOSA, and as ‘Rocco’ in Pappi Corsicato’s limited series VIVI E LASCIA VIVERE, alongside Elena Sofia Ricci and Carlotta Antonelli. Matteo also featured in the iconic Italian series DON MATTEO, opposite Terence Hill.

As a musician, Matteo is a triple-platinum selling artist. He recorded the soundtrack for MARE FUORI, including the platinum-selling title song ‘O Mar For’. In 2020, he released his first solo album EDO. His second solo album COME TE was released in 2023, featuring the smash hit ‘Origami All’Alba’, for which he completed his hugely successful first tour in the same year.
