Rosa Rankin-Gee

Rosa Rankin-Gee is an an award-winning author and screenwriter.

Her debut novel THE LAST KINGS OF SARK won Shakespeare & Company’s Paris Literary Prize.

Her critically acclaimed second novel DREAMLAND was hailed by Bernardine Evaristo as “a bold, cautionary and uncompromising imagining of a near feature-climate dystopia”. A television series adaptation of DREAMLAND is being produced by Sister Pictures for BBC/NBC Universal, with BAFTA winning screenwriter Kayleigh Llewellyn adapting the series. Rosa is serving as Executive Producer on the show, which will go into production early 2025.

Rosa is underway on her third novel, which will be published by Scribner/Simon & Schuster. 

Rosa’s further work has appeared in Esquire, The Paris Review, The New Yorker, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Guardian, and The Happy Reader, among others. She lives between New York and London with her wife.
